This contemporary piece is a perfect example of a melody created by just playing around on the black keys. It's a great way for students to explore the major pentatonic scale and sus chords. Don't let the six sharps scare you. "Playing Around" is quite easy to learn by either rote or reading. Suggested fingering and dynamics are included in the score.
